The Aimst Multi-Purpose Library BuildingThe Aimst Multi-Purpose Library Building is a 4 storey fully air-conditioned complex consisting of Multi-disiplinary Library, Exam Hall, Center for Matriculation and Foundation studies, Cyber Center and Study Area. The ArchitectureThe state of the art library building stands on culture of its own, majestic pilliars, curving glass panels and circular wooden stairs makes the perfect fusion of traditional and modern architecture to bring out the essense of harmony when acquiring knowledge. Most of the building is glass panel on metal frame. It create an transparent environment for improved natural lighting and at the same time reduce artificial lighting. This reduce the energy requirement on the long run and it is an environmental friendly approach. The Sky Window allow adequate natural lighting to every floor. Semi-circular stairs connecting every floor of the library. The wooden stairs give a traditional contrast to the modern building. The ground floor of the library. Other view around the building The interiorThe interior of the library is very spacious and quiet, hence students are able to concentrate on their studies in the library The Cyber Center. The Library have both hard (books) and soft (internet) references. The student can freely use the library computers for their research and studies.
